Go Vote, Pretty Please

This morning I received a email from nin.com that sums up what I wanted to write today.

This Tuesday, we will elect the next President of the United States. The result will have great consequences for the nation.

This election offers a choice between two men with dramatically different visions of the future. We have strong feelings about this choice. But we feel even more strongly that all Americans, regardless of political preference, have a stake in the outcome and should vote in this critical election.

This is likely to be a close election. Your vote matters. Please use it and make a difference.

So dust off your Cheeto stained hands, stop watching internet porn and go vote. I know the sun is a harsh beast, but sacrifices must be made.

From Slovakia (I dont care whether you know where it is or not, but just for clarification-its in the center of Europe right to Austria): Please make the right decisions! We dont want wars over suspitions covered by bullshits like justice and peace, because president's "friends" need money from state for making more weapons! Please! We don't want destroyed buildings, because government doesnt need them and covers it as an act of terrorism! We don't want to be lied to! We want to tackle the Global problems that are getting worse every day.

Its not what it sounds like, I dont want to flame with anyone later, just because somebody says that somebody isnt right, those are just my opinions after seeing many documentaries about war. Peace :)

While I had already voted before reading this post, I must say if I hadn't, this post definitely would encourage me to get off my lazy bum and vote.

I too received this email and appreciated it, even though I am not yet of voting age. Thanks, nin!
